Had a 4-1 error code showing up, called these guys last night and got Roy coming onsite in the morning already. He explained to me about the problem with the broken spring and some of the misalignment of the wheels/door. He fixed everything within 2 hrs or so and help me reset my code on the door panel as well. Roy was amazing and the explanation that he provided made sense. We had a garage door emergency when one of the springs broke. I called express door repair and a nice lady answered the phone. I explained that I needed somebody to come as soon as possible because the kids had to be in school and the car was stuck in the garage. She said she would have somebody call me right away. Roy called within minutes and arrived within 20 mins. It took less than an hour from the time that I called to the completion of the repair.

Our 35 year old wooden garage door was in need of some serious TLC so I called Roy and he came over to go through our options. We decided on the ContemporaryWalnut Steelcraft insulated door. Roy was very helpful in explaining how the door would look, as pictures are not always true to the actual colour. The new door looks amazing with the woodgrain finish. The top and sides are completely sealed with draft proof weather stripping. Roy took extra time to ensure the door was set up properly and closed evenly all round with no gaps. The door runs quiet. I called for a new garage remote. I had had an adapter put in when we replaced the remote last time. The fellow came and immediately this is really old, and I had told him that I had already told him it’s old. Right away he says he doesn’t have the re and would have to replace the adapter and charge an additional $200. I to told him no I wasn’t told that. He was trying to pressure me to do it and guilt trip that I came all this way. I was firm. Anyhow I called another reputable company and they charged half for the service call and way less for the report and didn’t need a new adapter and ended up paying 1 third what this guy wanted to charge me!

my garage door spring suddenly broke this morning and my garage is the only entrance that I can get into my home so this was really an emergency situation. I have been looking for a repair company to fix my friends roll down pentagon shutter door for over a month. I had the greatest experience with Roy and Express Door. Our garage door spring broke Monday morning - I called around and got a ton of vague quotes and answers about how they were going to fix the door and time. Not with Express Door. I called and their service dispatcher was very clear about what the costs would be, how long it could potentially take and most importantly, detailed the warranty for both the parts and labour…..the only company to do thatRoy arrived that evening to fix the door. real professional work. I got broken spring on my garage. call this guy name roy afternoon. same day two hours later shows up replaced my spring within an hour .nice and friendly . even fixed my bended pannel for free! clean up the door after all . and yes with two years warranty . recommended for sure !
